StrongDM is a proxy service that combines authentication, authorization, networking, and observability into a single platform. StrongDM is often used as an alternative to virtual private network (VPN) products, which are less targeted to specific systems and don’t provide Zero Trust access principles. With StrongDM, developers can gain just-in-time access to backend services, databases, and servers, and clusters via controlled, audited sessions.

Trustle w/ StrongDM

Overview

Trustle integrates with StrongDM to enable developers to request Roles, which is how StrongDM manages access to connected systems. Trustle then follows the appropriate approval workflow, based on the sensitivity of the role. Trustle also provides reporting on usage and which users have certain roles.
