Connecting GitHub

Enable your team to easily join and leave GitHub teams with Trustle

Overview

Authorize the Trustle App to manage your GitHub users, teams, and roles.

What you’ll need

  • The Owner role in your GitHub organization

Instructions

  1. Log into Trustle.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Connections.

  3. In the SaaS Providers section, locate the GitHub card and click Connect. You’ll be redirected to the Connect to GitHub page.

  4. Click Install GitHub App — this opens a new GitHub tab. If prompted, log in to your GitHub account.

  5. Select the GitHub organization you want Trustle to manage.

  6. Decide whether to grant access to all repositories or to selected repositories only. Click Install & Authorize when ready.

  7. After authorizing the app, a new tab will open to Trustle. Authenticate again to complete the connection.

  8. On the Complete GitHub Connection screen, you should see a notice: “Ready to Connect”. Click Allow Connection.

  9. You'll be redirected back to the Connections screen. A ✅ will appear next to the GitHub icon, indicating success.

  10. View GitHub Details
    Click the GitHub icon to view imported Users and Teams.
    ⚠️ Note: If your GitHub organization is large, the full import may take a few minutes.
